Do you want to collect more sugar or are you already in a candy coma?

When all the candy is eaten and the soda is gone, where can all the sugar fiends turn? Well, jelly, it seems: welcome the latest gooey installment of the Candy Crush Sagas, Candy Crush Jelly Saga. The game once again has you sticking together these delicious goodies in groups of three – so not much has really been changed or added, apart from many more hours of sweet-sugary addiction.

Play with tasty jelly

Candy Crush Jelly Saga is the same basic mechanics as previous installments: move candies of different colors to form groups of three or more. You can also use powers – earned or unlocked through in-app purchases - to make completing levels that little bit easier.

The novelty of Candy Crush Jelly Saga is the inclusion of more competitive elements in levels, with you constantly facing off against enemies, like the Jelly Queen, in turn-based battles. Sometimes you fight to clear more of the board, while at others you have find gummy worms (similar to bears Soda Candy Crush Saga) faster than your opponent.

In addition to elements that we already know like ice and candies, jelly will appear throughout the stages. Spread this all over the board like butter on bread to win the stage, long live glucose!

Candy Crush Jelly Saga also features new power-ups, like the Color Bomb Lollipop Boosters which connect to each other for additional bonuses.

Not suitable for diabetics

Candy Crush Jelly Saga has a similar aesthetic to its predecessors. That said, this time the graphics have definitely been improved, with new characters – like the aforementioned Jelly Queen – looking more graceful than previous cast members.

In short: we have a new world, full of bright colors, sugary treats, and better graphics.

Just for fans?

Jelly Candy Crush Saga is a commitment to the continuity of the Candy Crush Saga – providing the same puzzling gameplay, with a wobbly jelly facelift. Perfect for fans of all things King, or those who still can´t get enough of the Saga… but maybe not for anyone else.
